Spoiler Alert! Linger

Not gonna lie, I did click on this title because it reminded me of The Cranberries song (with the same title if you didn't know) But I was pleasantly surprised once I started to read it! I was immediately sucked into the story and began to visualize everything going on. I don't know about you guys, but once I start to visualize while I'm reading the rest of the world becomes invisible and I can only focus on the story at hand. This has gotten me into trouble a time or two but it usually means I'm reading a very good story (hint).         This story follows  16-year-old Evee who lives in a world where mysterious creatures they call 'Takers' steal humans souls and leave them without personalities and left for dead. When she finds out that her best-friend and secret crush, Jaeger, soul has been taken she decides to take action and find out what they want. With the help of a voice in her head, who happens to be Jaeger's little s...

Spoiler Alert! Catherine Carrigan: Original badass

It's a Zombie Apocalypse- AHHHH! Don't worry about it, Catherine Carrigan or "the cat" has got it under wraps. The good news about this story?  It has a stellar story line and I could see it as a movie like Sin City , a great video game like The Last Of Us Or even a show like Buffy The Vampire Slayer . Catherine isn't your typical rich, well manicured high school student, she's got a small arsenal of weapons hidden in her closet ( an arsenal of makeup as well apparently ) and she knows how to use them. So when she sees her neighbor suddenly being eaten alive she jumps into action. Even though I liked the story there were a few questions that came to mind while reading. Why couldn't they stay in Catherine's mansion? It's explained  in the story that she thinks zombies could easily sneak up on them there but the place is loaded with weapons and probably everything they would need for three months! C'mon girl, there's probably plenty of ...

Spoiler Alert!: First Kisses

OK, this is one Crazy Tree house, like crazy good! Three friends go up to their childhood hangout to watch the fireworks on the Fourth of July and as the title foreshadows, there's going to be some kissing. Is that predictable, yeah. Is it still awesome, heck yeah!  The main character,15-year-old  Jillian, is trying to accomplish her summer goals, one of which, is to have her very first kiss. Her two best friends,  brother's James and Caden, are willing to her help her along. That, my friends, is where it gets really interesting ( hint, hint ). You  know puberty has punched you in the face when you find yourself doing naughty things in a tree!         There was one small twist to this story that I really did not see coming and it kept me interested until the end. All in all I was thoroughly entertained and would recommend it to anyone in a bad mood. I really hope friendship prevails with th...
